10 Powerful Ways To Grow Your Income

By
John Karnish
1. Don't forget to follow up with your customers. You could follow up with a related product, service or affiliate program. Follow up every month or so with a new product and watch your wallet grow. 2. You can always upsell to your customers. When they reach your order page, let them know about a few extra related products that you sell. This is a great way to squeeze more profit from each customer. 3. Let your customers refer new customers for a full rebate of their purchase. This could easily turn one sale into three or four. 4. Let your customers know about your affiliate program. Work in how they only have to refer a few people in order to pay back their purchase price and make a profit. 5. Sell resell rights to your product or even sell a brandable version. You can include an ad for similar products and make money off of the sales and also make money selling the resell rights to your product as a back end. 6. Create a package with other people’s products. You could include a sample and offer the product owners a portion of the referral sales from the sample. This is an easy way of having other people sell your product for you. 7 Offer your customers a discount on a related product. Since they all ready have built a relationship with them, you could push a higher ticket product. 8. Send your customers offers for add-ons to your original products. You could easily offer upgrades, related services, software and so on. If they enjoyed the original product, they’ll buy the add-ons. 9. Sell gift certificates for your products. You'll make money from the sales of the gift certificates and you can follow up with related products in order to profit from future sales. 10. Send your customers freebies. You could place an ad for your website on bumper stickers, baseball hats, t-shirts and so forth. Through indirect exposure, people will visit your website and purchase. 5 Proven Methods for Internet Marketing Success

By

bibi Liew

There are hundreds of ways that you can promote your online business or website, some more effective than others. These five proven methods will help you to generate traffic to your site and also to generate income into your wallet. 1. One thing that appeals to everyone is "free." If it is free people will take it. Think of the samples of cheese given away at grocery stores. Do you really want a small piece of cheese? Of course not! But you take it simply because it is free and someone is nice enough to offer it to you. The same principle applies with information or services offered from your website. You can send out free newsletters or offer a free trail period. One popular thing that is being given away now are free credit reports or free PC scans. These freebies are what we in the marketing field like to call teasers. After running the free credit report or PC scan we alert the customer if there is something found on their credit record or PC and then offer to show them what it is or repair the problem for a price. This can be an effective way to get information to your potential customers, create sales or to generate traffic to your site. 2. Your website contains information about a service or product that you are very knowledgeable about. You can use this knowledge to generate traffic to your site by writing articles in your area of expertise and having them published in an ezine or an article information site. The most effective way to use these articles is to write them for free and ask in return that the publisher allow you to include a byline. A byline is a very short summary of the author, their credentials and their website. Your byline is a way that readers will come to know you as an expert on the topic and will in turn come to trust your site as a source of credible information. 3. Some search engines will allow a website to purchase their ranking. This is an excellent Internet marketing technique in that it is effective and inexpensive. In the pay-per-click programs, website are only billed for those who actually visit the page, unlike banner ads which may be seen by millions but only used by a few. When using the pay-per-click program you are asked to choose keywords and when those are entered your site will appear and if the surfer chooses to view your site, you are billed for that click. Many pay-per-click programs will offer other benefits as well, such as updated lists of commonly used keywords. 4. You should remember that others are in the same boat as you. You can choose to network with those who have similar marketing ideas. When networking you will be able to share links and refer customers to each other. You should always be very cautious when choosing a networking partner as everything that you recommend is a reflection of yourself or your product and therefore, you should be certain that your networking partner is a reputable source of information. 5. Simply because your website is online, doesn’t mean that all your advertising should be. Advertise in newspapers, TV, the radio or you can even send out a press release to get your information to thousands of people all over the country. 5 Plus One Internet Marketing Strategies to Improve Article Quality to Increase Web Traffic

By
Leanne Hoagland-Smith
Writing quality articles is time consuming for the very best writers. First, finding the time to write is probably the first real challenge. Then securing a topic or something to write about is the next obstacle. Finally, wondering if all this effort as a small business owner is going to secure the desired marketing end result of increased web traffic to your web site is always present. After writing articles for the last four and a half months, I have developed some strategies to improve article quality and to increase traffic to my website. Strategy #1 – Set aside time every week to write and establish a goal for the number of articles that you will write during the week. I schedule time with myself to write. This is usually a several hours during the weekend and possibly a couple of hours each week depending upon my schedule. Currently, my weekly goal is 2 articles. With other writing commitments including my website, this sometimes is quite a stretch for me. Strategy #2 – Create an easy format that you can easily copy and paste your efforts into those sites where you regularly contribute. For me, I used Microsoft Word. Also, I included within my M.S. Word document beyond the actual article are the following: (1) A title that meets the site’s policies such as www.ezinearticls.com of 100 characters (2) Word Count (3) Copyright Statement (4) Bio or Signature statement that meets the character guidelines (1101 for Ezine Articles) (5) key words (100 characters for Ezine Articles) (6) A table for key words to be used within the article and as search words. The table is probably the most beneficial element within this format. As I write the article, I plug in phrases that I believe have high key word value. The table can be easily copied and pasted into a new article with similar key words. These key words then can be prioritized from highest to lowest and used as the keywords within the article submission site. By using the highlight tool, I can quickly determine what words are used within the article’s content. Strategy #3 – Write from your own personal experience and avoid the royal "We." People look to the Internet to find answers to their questions from people who have actual experiences. Share your failures and successes while you are demonstrating your expertise. Use the personal touch to begin to build a relationship and not to "sell" your product or service. Be real and respectful to each and every reader. Also include some humor if possible. Again, remember you want them to want more and click through to your website. Strategy #4 – When selecting the topic, determine the focus through researching the key word popularity. A site such as http://inventory.overture.com helps. Short articles also contribute to greater focus. If you have an exceptionally long article, break it into 2 or more shorter articles. I try to keep my articles between 400 and 800 words depending upon the topic or subject. Strategy #5 – After writing your article, review the content and begin to actively search for words or phrases that will increase the "hits" to your articles. Many times I believe I have an incredibly great title. By using a key word search, I can truly learn if the title is extraordinary or just plain ordinary. For example, in a recent article I had planned to use the phrase "bulls eye" in the title. As I am a very visual individual, this word conjured up an arrow hitting a target. Inventory overture revealed 3,190 searches for "bulls eye" while the word "target" had 1,814,599. My next action was to quickly change the title to maximize this key word. In MS Word, under the Edit Button, you can scroll down to Find and enter each key word to determine if that word or phrase is included within your article. With Search Engine Optimization (SEO), using the right amount of key words is also important. An overload of key words is just as harmful as not enough key words. My strategy is to identify 20 top key words for every article and incorporate them at least one time and not more than three times into the article. Strategy #5 Plus – Upon completion of your article, find a colleague or friend and ask them for their opinion. I currently review many of efforts with two close friends. Suggestions are freely given and changes are made. The end result is always a much high quality of article. Hopefully, these 5 plus one strategies will not only improve your Internet marketing through increased traffic to your web site, but will also improve the quality of your articles and potentially start to build those relationships with future customers or clients. 5 Free Online Advertising Channels For Your Business

By
Mark Tse
What a wonderful invention it is, this thing we call the Internet! If you would just take your time to know your way around, you could discover a lot of premium products and services being offered for free. What's best is that there is a seemingly endless number of these wonderful finds, what with the Internet being a vast network of constantly evolving ideas and all! Among these magnificent benefits is the chance to be able to promote your business, any business, online, free of charge! It doesn't matter if your enterprise is a purely online or offline venture, the World Wide Web is home to a great number of marketing opportunities that you could avail of, with no damage to your business' budget whatsoever. Advertising can be a big problem otherwise. A lot of companies reserve a big chunk of their budgets to cover marketing expenditures. Sometimes, these gambles pay off, but there are occasions when they fail miserably, putting to waste some good money that could have been used in other areas of development for the business involved. But with the many channels available online, marketing has become a less risky course of action. There so many avenues available online where you could advertise your business for free and attain more exposure for your products or services. Here are some of them. 1. You could advertise through your own website. Ordinarily, you should pay a nominal fee for web hosting and your domain name. A paid web hosting service is more reliable. Your own domain name would impress upon your visitors an immediate sense of professionalism. But if you don't want to spend for them, there are a lot of free web space providers on the Internet! 2. You could advertise through other people's websites. And you could do this in a lot of ways too! You could create a banner that would summarize your business' offers and have it displayed on existing pages. Or if you have your won website for your business, you could use the said banner to link to your pages, or you could even settle for simple links. Additionally, you could have other webmasters rave about your venture and they could talk about it in their own websites. 3. You could create your own affiliate program. By giving commissions as incentive, you could invite a lot of Internet users to become your affiliates. Each affiliate would work to help you make a sale. It's like having a battalion of sales representatives that you'd only have to pay if they manage to refer a willing customer! 4. You could try viral marketing. Viral marketing is the online equivalent of word o mouth advertising. By giving away something for free, for as long as that something has a link or a simple reference to your business, you're encouraging the recipient to spread the word about your business to the people he knows. This would result in the exponential expansion of your business message like wildfire. 5. You could advertise in online communities. Forums and mailing lists are popular venues that could likewise convey your business message. Membership to these groups is usually free. Additionally, you could also create your own mailing list and start capturing leads for future sales by doing some helpful follow-ups. The Internet is a great place for promoting your business. There are five million people online at any given time and the world is, quite literally, your market. It would be best for your business to capitalize on this wonderful opportunity and expand your audience a thousand fold bigger! And you wouldn't even have to spend a penny while you're at it. -------------------------------------------------- This article is written by Mark Tse. 4 Reasons Why Having Your Own Product is Essential for Serious Marketers

By
Paul Kleinmeulman
I know what you’re thinking, "Why is having your own product essential?" Quite simple really, without your own product you will never market to your full potential. We all want to make as much money as possible. That is the nature of business and because of this I have listed below my favourite and most powerful reasons why you need your own product to promote as opposed to be an affiliate for somebody else’s product. Please read and understand these reasons because they make a whole lot of sense. 1. Affiliate Program - Without your own product it is impossible to have your own affiliate program. Big deal, what’s so fancy about having your own affiliate program? I’m glad you asked because it is a BIG DEAL. When you sell online you are only one person and your results depend completely on you but when you have your own affiliate program other people do the work for you. They make you sales and your sales are muliplied expontially without any additional effort on your behalf. The best part is they only get paid when they have made a sale. Having an affiliate program is more than a good idea, I would go so far as to say, it’s essential. The best and only affilate software that I would recommend is JVManager (http://www.PrivateRights.com/JVManager.html), so flexible and worth every penny. 2. Product Packaging - I would like to see you package together a whole lot of products via an affiliate link. The word, impossible, comes to mind because normal affiliate programs just don’t work that way, you have very limited contol. But why would you want to do that anyway? Primarily because people love a bargain, and in addition to that your product/offer will have a lot more impact when it is combined with related items/bonuses. More about this later in another post. 3. Special Offers - One of my personal favourites that is only possible with your own product (unless you have very good relationships with a product owner and you have some major clot as an affiliate), is the ability to offer people a lower/special price. If you own your own product, you control the price so you decide whether you want to reward your customers for their loyalty or just infuse your cash flow if it is a little low with a firesale. 4. Joint Venture Partnerships - Only with your own product is it possible to wheel and deal with other product owners and put together a joint venture deal that will knock people’s socks off. Joint ventures or JV’s can allow you to reach a target market that will only be possible with other partners. I’ll spend more time on this in another post. I could keep on going but these are my favourite benefits of having your own product and why I strongly suggest you do everything possible to get your own product. You don’t have to spend a fortune or a lot of time creating your own product Private Label Resell Rights are the easiest and cheapest solution to this problem. 3 Simple Steps to internet home business promotion

By
Joel Teo
Many internet home business owners are lost when they first start out building their internet home business and spend time purchasing bulk popunder traffic that does not really work for them. This article will highlight 3 simple steps that any internet home business owner can take to effectively promote any internet home business. Registering your own domain This simple point cannot be repeated enough. If you want to promote your internet home business, always use your own link. The reason for this is that people would see your own domain name as more professional rather than some unsightly company referral domain. In addition, should the company you are promoting close down, you can easily point your domain at a new domain and promote a new internet home business. Always register your own domain when purchasing advertising on other websites so that you do not need to have to contact the website owner should you decide to promote a different internet home business. Article marketing One of the best ways online to get people to visit your internet home business has been through article marketing. In one highly published experiment recently, one internet marketer showed how he achieved many people linking to his website through the use of an article submission software. The links that people put it linking to your website will be a permanent link which is always on their websites and its very much like online networking. Imagine many websites like salesman telling other website visitors about your products. The more salesman you have promoting your internet home business the money profits you will make online. Pay Per Click One of the best ways to send highly targeted online website traffic to your internet home business is pay per click advertising where search engine companies like Google and Yahoo place your ads near or into their search results. Thus this gives you very targeted traffic that can result in higher conversion ratios for you in your internet home business. Make good use of these three quick tips in your internet home business and you will see more profits coming in. I would add that you should also spend time planning how you are going to use these ideas and write down how long and how much money you are willing to spend doing these things. Then, execute your plan and track your results. An internet home business can generate profits, provided promotion is done correctly, hopefully this article will point you in the right direction. 3 Simple Steps For Revealing Marketing Secrets Of The Expert

By
Greg Root
Learn the easy method I use to reveal marketing secrets. Details of my findings using this method are also disclosed. Two years ago, I began using ezine advertising as the cornerstone of my online marketing efforts. From the need to determine the most productive and cost effective ezines to advertise in, I stumbled upon a method that revealed the secrets of successful online marketers. The Method My method is easy to follow. There's 3 basic steps: 1.Examine several communication tools the experts use such as an email or sales page. 2.Compare these tools and search for similarties. 3.Collect the common points and implement those findings. For example, suppose I want to find out how to construct or improve a sales page for a product I own or have resell rights to. The first thing I do is to get online and do a search. In this example, I search using the phrase "internet marketing experts index". Second, I open every sales web page the search produces in a multi tab browser (Mozilla). Third, I compare the pages looking for similarities. I note these down in Windows notepad, taking care not to overlook details such as fonts, colors, graphics, etc. Finally, I incorporate the information I collected into my own sales pages. Now you know my method. Next, I reveal the secrets my system has uncovered. The following sections disclose the common factors of various communication tools. Web Sales-Copy Page I've looked at, and studied countless web sales pages. (I estimate at least 50) Most of them have: Red verdana headline in quotations Testimonials (usually near the top) Time or quantity limitations A guarantee symbol graphic Photo scan of their signature Professional photograph Background logo images An audio or video Free bonuses Prices ending in the number 7 Most Cost Effective and Productive Ezines to Advertise In I'm currently subscribed to about 30 ezines that I advertise in. My experience has shown that the most cost effective and productive ezines to advertise in usually have: A testimonial page Contact info including phone number and address Solo ads running regularly (If they sell solo ads and you never see any, it's a bad sign) A form for submitting ads Require subscribers to double opt-in Have a long waiting period for running my ad (indicates a very popular ezine for advertising) Email Advertising About 15 of the newsletters I'm subscibed to are from online experts like Yanik Silver, David Vallieres, Mike Filsaime, Russell Brunson, Len Thurmond, and others. When they send an advertisement in the email I note the common points are: An irresistible headline that poses an open-ended question or statement It's personalize Short double spaced paragraphs Bulleted benefits statements Limited time of offer or quantity available Special price or bonus for limited number of responders (i.e. the first 50 customers get half off) Guarantee P.S. that states a major benefit Note: I save the most persuasive ads in a separate folder for study. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) I learn a lot about my competitors' SEO techniques by examining their linking campaign. I initially do a search for keywords related to my website. Next I get the url's of my competition. Finally, I use an online tool at http://www.marketleap.com/publinkpop to reveal the following: How many links my competition has Who links to them Ideas for who to approach for link exchanges Other related websites I also use SEO Elite, a free tool to compare: Keywords used Keyword Density Meta tags Meta Description
That's just some of the specifics. More can be revealed by examining the benefits statements listed on the expert's sales page or in their emails. You can get clues to the info. you need to study. For example, one benefit statement for a sales page info. product might say "The 3 Things Every Sales Copy Page Must Have to be Successful." So, now you know you're looking for 3 things they ALL have in common. Remember to get the big picture, look for similiarities, then study the details. That's the key to reveal the marketing secrets of the masters.
